Documentary Work

Hormel Driven By Bacon: Hormel hired me to write and direct a short film about a motorcycle that runs on Bacon Grease. We drove from their headquarters in Minnesota to San Diego generating 32,000 impressions along the way.
National Addy Awards - Non Traditional Advertising - Silver
AdFed - Best of Show
American Advertising Awards - Consumer Integrated Campaign & Branded Content- District 8 Gold

Pizza Hut: I was the writer, creative director and director on a series of informative short films that not only showcase Pizza Hut's rich history but also delve into the origins of its main ingredients. Highlighting Pizza Hut's evolution over the years through iconic images of its restaurants will further reinforce its status as a global pizza chain. And by dedicating specific films to each main ingredient, I hope to have offered viewers a deeper understanding of the sourcing and quality behind the pizzas they enjoy.

Playing Coltrane: The NFL contacted me to direct this exciting project about Andre Hardy. Taking on multiple roles as a producer, director and creative director during the 4-hour shoot was a challenging but rewarding experience. Collaborating with a DP we only had a team of two on set, but we were able to capture what we needed in a small amount of time. It’s always fulfilling to work on project that is close to my heart and align with my interests.

LA UNITY: This PSA that deals with the rise of hate crimes in America. I wrote, directed, and produced the project that was shot on 16mm film. There were 7,759 reported hate crimes in the U.S. last year. The most in 12 years.

IBM - When Neurodiversity Works: WIRED / CONDE NAST hired me to direct a success story about seven individuals that have been hired and are one year plus into working for IBM. We shot one day in their Michigan headquarters and then I offered two days free to go to their homes and asked if we could take the team bowling. The film premiered at the annual IBM SPARK conference in San Francisco. This film has also helped start similar programs at other corporations around the world. This is the cutdown of a longer film you can view here.

Miss Monroe: Featured on The Atlantic.com as Best Documentary of the year and receiving a prestigious nomination for Best Documentary of the year at The One Show.

The St. Paul Kid: This original film made a very big impact on its community. It's truly amazing what a small team with a big idea can accomplish. Not only did we help revitalize the gym, but we also contributed to the community by expanding its offerings into more gyms that provide great mentorship. With no budget my team consisted of a DP, gimbal operator and a boom operator.
